課程概述


This class includes polytomous and ordinal logistic regression, conditional logistic regression, Poisson and negative binomial regression, advanced analysis of variance, advanced survival analysis. These regression models are used for analysis of interval data, binary data, count data, and survival data. They have been used widely in analysis of epidemiological data.

教學目標

Students are expected to learn regression models for analysis of polytomous and ordinal data, correlated interval, binary, counts, and survival data.

The performance of the students in the class is based on homework assignments, midterm and final. Homework will be assigned each week and turned in the following week. Homework that is not turned in on schedule will NOT be accepted.

課程要求

Students who take this course need to:

Complete all assignments and reports according to the class schedule.

評量方式

Student grades will be determined as follows:

  1. Assignments: 40% 2.Mid-term examination: 30% 3.Final-term examination: 30%
