Introduction to computer graphics, Point plotting technique, Coordinate system, line drawing algorithm, circle generators, Line drawing display, storage tube display, refresh line drawing display.

Point and positioning drive, light pen, mouse, tablet, Input technique, Positioning technique and character recognition.

Basic transformation, homogenous coordinate system, composite and other transformation, Point and line clipping, polygon clipping, text clipping, view planes. Raster graphics fundamentals, solid area scan conversion, interactive raster graphics, raster graphics systems. .

Curve and surfaces, Beizier and B-spline method, perspective depth, hidden surface elimination, depth buffer algorithm, scan line coherence and area coherence algorithm, priority algorithm.

Device independent graphics system, graphics system design, case studies of graphic kernel system.

Introduction to DWDM. ITU channel specifications. DWDM Network Topologies. ISDN overview conceptual view of ISDN- ISDN standards - service capabilities, ­Teleservices protocol architecture.- facsimi1e teletex . Message handling systems.

ISDN Interfaces and functions-transmission structure-user network interface configurations - ISDN protocol architecture- ISDN connections -terminal adaptation addressing networking.

ISDN Data link layer-LAPD, bearer channel link control using 1.465/V 120, frame mode hearer service and protoco1.
