    Parameter 4: inhoud

    In this course some the concept of work-related wellbeing (e.g. burnout versus engagement, intention for turnover) including some

    antecedents (e.g. job insecurity, safety, workload) and consequences (e.g. perceptions of service quality and customer satisfaction),

    and theories (e.g. the Karasek model) is studied.


    Also the work psychological position of some specific risk (e.g. older workers, minorities) and occupational groups (e.g. nurses,

    teachers, managers) is discussed.

    S 273 To learn to set up and carry out an optimal research plan in consultation with clients and team mates.

    Parameter 4: inhoud

    A strong emphasis will be placed on visual perception: first as an issue on itself, subsequently in interaction with cognitive and motor

    functions.


    Each issue will be discussed against the background of different research techniques like single-cell recordings, functional imaging,

    electrophysiological recordings, transcranial magnetic stimulation and behavioural measurements. Special attention will be paid to the

    advantages and limitations of these techniques.
